Forget that, can you imagine some of the photoshopped images and their captions if you had taken a picture for all to digitally alter? :)

Next time!!

Maybe times have changed, but when I was an F/O, the number of Captains that shared the walk-around could be counted on one hand. Dinner? Uh, no. Not sure I remember that at all. The occasional beer was most appreciated.

Maybe it's a base cultural thing, mb times are changing, or mb it's because there are a lot more older dudes, e.g. moi, hanging out in right seats. I'm referring to walk arounds more than anything. The occasional dinner or beer is nice when it happens. Truth be told, I've bought the CA dinner more times then not... but don't let that get out.

Really?

I still owe you a few beers, bro. No dinner required. :D

I thought to myself, "why the hell am I buying rats!, cats probably taste pretty good to a snake!"

You are in the SWA pool aren't you?

Recommend you look in Brighton, or Brighton Township ( I've been for 10 yrs). Hidden Lake is a very nice place, very nice!, but there are other places just as nice, for less $. Also, you are about 13 min drive from the nearest grocery store. Tis beautiful, but dont "lock" into that area.

Thanks, just looked at a place there, and it was the lowest price place and seemed like a good deal.

That has got to be one of the funniest first sentences to a post that I can remember. I didn't even need to read any further. :D

Always been that way - although ATL (Mecca) still only tolerates the western US. Both LAX and SLC have that kind of culture (flown with a few ex-ATL CAs and it can be tough flying with them). Some day (:D) DAL may figure out there is a whole country west of ATL (although not since I've been hired - ask Buzzpat how LAX is working out).

I was in SAT on vacation last month, taking a trip on the little train that goes through the park (can't remember the name) near the Zoo when we passed a picnic area. A older lady was pouring out catfood into 5 (!) piles while a few cats (I guess they lived in the park, it was far from houese) crept out of the weeds and started eating.

All I could think of was, does she fly for us?
