If RA applies the "Comair Effect" to all DCI carriers, you'll be down to 92 50-seaters in about 18 months.

To test this theory ... along Virginia Ave, you'll hear debates on whether that's a comma, or a semi-colon in paragraph four on page 392. In Anchorage the same discussion would go something like "Is that in the FOM? ... What's an FOM?"*

SLC is in the middle, which is probably a good place to be.

Heyas Bar,

It was the same at NWA before the merger.

You had guys who walked in off the prarie at 18 or 19, and were 727 captains in 4 years, and widebody captains in 8.

For those of us who got away from MSP, we often scratched our heads wondering if it was something in the water. It was some amusement, however, after the merger, to see those same people completely befuddled at the fact that the sun did not rise and set in the central time zone.

Any news on narrow body jets, other than 50 seaters?
Yeah, they want to up gauge the airline, and it is going to be 717s or 319's that are lease returns from other airlines. I guess it all depends on the Price

Any news on more CRj 900's? In the crew room the network guy said they wanted them.

Management usually says more than ALPA does and it's kinda already out there.

I just got the email for the P.U.B. events in my area (N. ATL) and I plan to attend. Hope to meet/see some other APC'ers there on May 1 or 2!
Cheers

Line Check meeting with Anderson.

There are three forms of quick long distance communication during contract negotiations:
(1) Telephone
(2) Telegraph
(3) Tell a Line Check Airman

I suspect any airframe choice will not be announced until a contract agreement. The company will want to leverage any growth airframes in the negotiations.
