on Deltanet Anybody know what the parts commonality is with a MD90 and 717? Could you live happily with a fleet of 160+ MD90s and MD95s? George? Gloopy? |

So why bother with ETOPS? Maybe it's like buying a truck and going ahead and getting a 4x4 even though the only time it will ever go off road will be into the flowerbed. It just is worth having in case you want to one day use it off road or it snows. G&G= george and gloopster |

And the seemingly incongruous remark---

Misread Japan. Thought it said Saudi
Nothing to see here. Move along. |
Does anyone here save the category lists from the company? I am trying a little experiment to see seniority progression over the last few years and am missing a few months of the category lists. Please PM if you can help.
One other thing: these are further back than you can get by just changing the dates on the company website. |

I heard were starting a SNN mini hub operation...:D
On the walk out to get some dinner around 6pm, witnessed a 50ish yr old patron leaning against a building on a random corner downtown, while urinating and vomiting at the same time.....wow, they take thier drinking seriously in Ireland! |

Nothing to see here. Move along. FWIW, last year AerSale also bought 19 JAL 744s... AerSale is dedicated to excellence in flight equipment leasing and spares support. We specialize in providing lease aircraft and engines to airlines worldwide Here's a quick thought, If the MD88 doesn't get the cockpit upgrade soon, here is what the endgame 3-5 years down the line would look like... 117 MD88 16 MD90 34 DC-9 167 Total 65 MD90 (board approved max) 80 717 25 Saudi MD90 (if added to the fleet) 170 Total The A319 is a negotiating position just as GK saying he will park painted and WN configured 733 and keep the "unwanted" 717 by spending money on paint and new interiors... Let's hope we don't get the A319, we already know it won't make money on the shuttle and must be replaced by 76-seat RJs... Cheers George |
