Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
My impression is that the 'ratio' includes ALL non-mainline ops, such as JV. Comprehensive, if you will.

DALPA will spin it however they will, ratio, etc. But in the end, they are going to ask for scope relief. As others here have eluded to, once you give it up, you DON'T get it back. Lets hope our pilot group can see thru the spin.

If I were trying to trick some pilots into giving away more flying, I would come up with a statistic that can improve while the scope gets worse. Think about this...
I run an airline with 6 737s and 3 50 seat RJs. Each jet flies 12 hours per day. So my ratio of mainline to non-mainline block hours is 2:1.
Now, I park the 3 50 seaters and buy 2 76 seaters. Each jet still flies 12 hours per day. Now, although I'm moving more passengers on RJs than before, my ratio is improved to 3:1. Notice the ratio improved, but I need the exact same number of 737 pilots.
Now, I do this on a grand scale, buy more RJs, and start parking some 737s, all the while keeping my promise to improve the ratio of mainline to non-mainline block hours.
TO'M, let ME be perfectly clear. We will not be snowed by fancy numbers and ratios into giving away more flying. And it doesn't matter how URGENT the sales pitch becomes.
Hold the line, guys!

Yeah, and my underboob rehab was going just fine until Jesse posted this:
Screw rehab!

Why? So you could witness the death of American space exploration? So you could tell your kids "I was there when we gave up"?
I'll pass. It was more depressing than anything else.
NASA's budget, even at it's peak, wasn't even a rounding error in the overall budget, yet employed tens of thousands of SKILLED Americans...scientists, engineers, machinists, plus thousands more in the ancillary industries. Plus we got really, REALLY cool stuff. THAT'S the way you waste taxpayers money.
How small we've become

No, actually it was just a meeting wondering how it is that a LCA could show such poor judgment as to post the following regarding fNWA pilots:
Shameful post from a clueless author.
