I want to be more productive while at work. I want at least 6 hours per every calender day or duty period per trip (whichever's greater). I do not want to work more per month. I want to credit the same amount of hours with less days at work and a lot higher pay rate. These changes just have us working a lot more for the same money...actually less money after the displacements. Not good overall.

Agreed. IMO, as i've been saying all along, there's no way the company is giving any gains without taking concessions. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

You act like you have just seen the entire TA. Good grief, they are still negotiating to get those items that you mentioned. Patience grasshopper...

I will wait for the remainder to be revealed, though...

OK, let me state from the outset that I don't sit reserve and really don't know the heartache of the reserve rules....

However, my question would be, as of today, how many reserves across all categories actually come close to hitting ALV? I really don't know, but is it maybe 10% of all reserves actually get used to the max?

The reason I ask, is that one of the biggest complaints I hear from the Reserves that I fly with is the low reserve guarantee. From what I read, 100% of all Reserves are going to benefit from an increased Reserve guarantee, while perhaps 10% are going to get used and abused.

Again, I don't sit reserve, but all I ever heard was how the reserve guarantee should be raised and short call should be incentivised, which it seems they've done.

I hear how most of the time we need to protect ourselves from each other (trip parking, selling vacation erc) and now we can sell off days for more garuntee? Well that is just another chance at a money grab to the detriment of other pilots. More days on call=less people needed.

I sat reserve for two years starting in 2007. I broke guarantee once and that was 72 hours. Quite a few on the 88 this past winter did not fly for 2 months on reserve.

But what guarantee does the company have that guys will sell X days for more money?? What data can they rely on? The guarantee will already be raised. I don't know. I'll have to see the entire TA.

You can already volunteer to fly on your off day as a reserve pilot via yellow slip.

Negative Ghost Rider. You can't yellow slip on your days off. If line holders won't don't know the reserve game would educate themselves on how it worked they might be in for a real eye opener !!
