Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I'm guessing here but...was this "Presentation" scheduled a long time ago...
Or is this something 'new', ie. the announcement that Delta has signed a T/A with it's pilots, including a 45% raise, purchase of Alaska, and Hawaiian, and AA's South American routes and facilities in MIA, and 80 717's, and 50 777's and a Bazzillion RJ's to be flown by Mainline Pilots?
And soon Delta will "Rule the World"!
Cue the Doctor Evil laugh track...

Dammit!
I was so looking foreward to flying the 737 out of ANC...in February!
(was that arrogant enough, or should I put some mustard on it?)

If in case anyone hasn't mentioned it.....
If we get a crappy TA I'm voting for DPA
Joking aside, any truth to the rumor that DALPA is looking to raise our dues this fall?
And, any chance that even with the current NNP "concessionairy contract changes" that we may be getting some significan industry leading advancement in compensation in conjunction with some airtight section 1 scope?
I pessimisticly doubt that, but wondering if that is a possibility.

(1) The DPA has not done its homework (as of this writing) to offer a alternative "safe harbor" to thwart a crappy TA which might be ratified if sent to the "I don't care made Captain in my X year, senior, just want more money" crowd. If the DPA were sharp, it would already be crafting a lawsuit requesting injunctive relief while the representational question was being sorted, thus offering a plan to delay a TA until the Company's hand was forced on replacing the 50 seat, Douglas & 757 fleets.
(2) No increase in dues for Delta pilots. ALPA will try again to attach dues to 401K and other deferred income retirement plans. This has not made it past the BOD in years past. Mostly effects the UAL pilots.
(3) No way in hell. ALPA hasn't made scope restoration a goal and management wants scope relief. With ALPA punting and management demanding the ball in play, it is only reasonable to expect management will end up with the ball, first down, with good field position. We would have to offer a defense, which we seemingly have no interest in.

11:01 AM Strange doing with shares of Delta Air Lines (DAL) after trading is halted after the stock trips up circuit breakers on a relatively timid 1.1% upside move. Over 5M shares of DAL have already been swapped today in early action, although traders are madly tweeting that a fat finger trade could be behind the drama
or so they say.....

Yes, but it too was scheduled a long time ago, nothing 'special' about it...yet.

Well, there you have it. If SWA had 12,000 pilots they'd produce 33 B in revenue. Wholly owned DCI pilots lower that revenue per pilot equation?

Haha... You know I wouldn't disappoint you. There is also a follow up video called "Can't hug every cat" thanks to the same guys who made "Bed Intruder".

I'm not sure if she is a Delta flight attendant or Southwest

In regard to the new short call rules, I just learned you have to sit short call 3 times to get into bucket 2. I thought once you had 2 you were in bucket 2.
I'm at a RAW score of 81, sitting 3rd short call, while others haven't done anything all month. I'm happy to have seniority in the reserve system but really hope this next contract fixes our work rules.
