At 1.5 degrees you strike the tail. I think VREF in a no slat/no flap is 320.

They are dinky. When GE went from the CF34-3B1 to the CF34-8CX model they had a core that they could significantly derate for the -700 and -900 application. I'm sure they've just been pouring the power back in to the new model.

The CF34-3B1 was the last gentleman's engine on that airplane (the -200 motor). We don't need no stinkin' FADEC.

They totally do look dinky given the size. I mean look at that thing, it's longer than the Dreamlifter. I measured it on the screen.
