Totally agree. Another point that I've not heard discussed is that the Environmental "Protection" Agency hasn't approved the construction of a new refinery in over a decade. Good luck to any competitor trying to find a refinery to buy...because it's damn sure nobody can build one. Delta's done the equivalent of purchasing the only home for sale in a neighborhood with a building moratorium.

And since no new ones are onthe way from what I understand, what Delta did was ensure we don't lose yet another source of Jet A therein further driving up a large crack spread despite an oil price drop.
