Which is funny considering the constant inverse assignment status

Silly question but in the application it is saying I need to submit a reference that I have known 10 years? I’m only 27 so not sure what professional reference I can use that’s more than 10 years. Or can we use family / friends?

If it doesn’t say professional, then it’s not specific to professional references.

Anyone ever hired with a previous, single 121 failure? Or would that disregard an app altogether.

Plenty with that... alarm bells start going off with multiples.

What seems to be the 'sweet spot' for Delta pilot hiring right now when it comes to civilian applicant flight experience?

4000-10000 hrs total. Most have at least 1000 PIC but there are exceptions.

Anything above or below those total times are not the norm.

I'd guess the "sweet spot" is about 4-5k total time and around 1000pic. I've known quite a few get hired below 1000pic.

This is totally unscientific and I have no data to back this up other than anecdotal stories of friends being hired.

Way back in 2014-16 I recall the average civilian TT was 8000. PIC was 1000-3000.
