I got called 12 times last night for numerous green slips on the bus. Noticed they cancelled this morning two hub to hub flights for what I imagine were lack of crews... Maybe it’s time to increase hiring?

I think there was a Wx meltdown in Minny last night. Bunch went out on the 717 last night as well.

Maybe we should eliminate the GS trigger. I'm sitting at 65 hours after dropping a trip. Ain't no way, unless...

Exactly. Its a stupid rule. The intent is to keep pilots from dropping their whole line and only GSing but that can only be done in a labratory enviroment of month long over staffing sufficient to drop all trips that suddenly turns into month long crisis short staffing.

Yes its possible in some very rare cases. Its also possible to have tripple dipping trip droppers in the right seat of a fleet they refuse to staff properly, and million dollar men in the left seat of an improperly launched fleet. There's no problem with either as those things happen all the time.

Time to eliminate (or at least significantly reduce) the GS trigger.
