Apparently the main guy behind the program. I guess people were *****ing to Pilot Selections about the process. “My buddy has been waiting x months and you give these guys a guaranteed app review!? Not fair!”
That said I’m assuming ”officially” the app review is not guaranteed and maybe never was. But I’m sure having a Delta formal training course on one’s record can’t hurt.

True. But it sounded like those that did the ATP course were immediately reviewed and scored versus the 30-day waiting game for the rest of those that submitted internally.

Not only that, they were getting interview invite email within days...couple buddies of mine waited < 48 hrs to get the invite.

I’m here now (ATP-CTP) and I can assure that the app pull still exists and has been having an extremely successful hire rate (90%+). Check your rumor mill.

Lol. Well you paid the money so of course they’re going to tell you it’s guaranteed. I am however hoping you’re right as I have a good buddy that just completed the program. It’d be a shame if there wasn’t at least some incentive. Please report back on the timeline as to when you apply and get the email to interview. Good luck!

It’s not illegal, Delta gets eyes on potential first officers for a week, as well as seeing them fly in the sim. For students, who are mainly military, they get an outstanding intro to the 121 world. Win-Win.
