I don't know what's so surprising. I asked a major pilot long ago what is the best airline to work for and his answer was the one that hires you. If DAL is the best, that's great and maybe it's true but as everyone knows it's mostly about seniority and QOL and you have to get hired first. The SSP is practically meaningless without substance and had no or little play in voting.

Maybe but it appears that the DAL pilots may not be in favor of it. I am not sure about anything that comes from management. I would rather have something that the DAL want and support. After all it's their company.

The SSP is only an interview. I'll be curious to see if they interview 50 guys a month but take the contractual min. A quarter of the list would be checked off in less than a year. You will have a bunch of disgruntled guys at Endeavor. Most guys aren't banking on it anyways. It's a carrot that can be taken away at anytime. We're just praying the floodgates at AA and UAL will open up. I just hope the flows go so my schedule will get a bit better. Tired of commuting to reserve after 14 years.

If I remember right, it's four circles in a diamond configuration, tell which one has a break in it. Those things get pretty tiny. I struggled and only after finishing realized someone before me had left a greasy smudge on the lens. Awesome.

Eye test tip
If you are staring at the four circles and they all look the same, try closing your eyes briefly, then look again. One of them will usually "pop out" for just a second before blending back in with the others.

are you guys talking about the depth perception test? We have that for our physicals in the AF. Sometimes you have to sit there for a minute and let your eyes "discover" which one it is. At first you can't tell, but slowly it seems to become more apparent.
