Got the email today for interview invite. Excited to say the least.
Currently active duty military, start terminal leave ~25 November, put down I was available to start 15 December on my airlineapps profile.

Having been military nearly my entire flying career, I'm open to any bits of advice prior to going into the interview. I plan on doing Emerald Coast for some prep.
Put down on your app that you are available 26 nov.

But it's been mentioned multiple times. Show up thinking the resume will get you through and/or acting like a tool
Oh I understand and agree completely. If I get lucky enough to score an interview, I will be just another new guy...big ears, little mouth, and a lot to learn.

Sounds like he has it wired then. I am hoping to start getting calls 6 months out from my avail date. I am locked in...if I don't retire then I am going to have to accept a set of non flying orders to a location I don't want. If I were in your buddy's shoes, I would hold off on retiring until I got an offer unless he is ready to take the leap with no parachute.

That is quite a resume', best of luck to him in the interview. I have a lot of those blocks checked as well, hopefully I will hear something in a few months.

What he said..... Pay attention. This is probably the most important clue that anyone can give you.

Sorry if that came off harsh, wasn't my intent.

Seems like delta is the type of company that would want you to give two weeks. Surprising.

As a retired NWA/DAL guy, I have three words of advice. Seniority, Seniority and Seniority. Good luck to you all! You will love the job but more importantly you will love the guy's/gal's you fly with.
