Now the Ya'll question I will have to think about that. Can't think of what Jeff Foxworthy always says. I am hoping he can show me the answer.
I hope to be the first to welcome you to New York. Win win.

lulz

This thread has the potential to be seriously fun.

I have to say thank you Delta pilots for having some fun. It has been what 4 or 5 pages of talking about Grits and giving me teaching aids to learn the native tongue. Now I figure I have about 10 years before I get the SSP interview so I should have some time to study.

Look...yankee or not...please learn how to spell southern style. It`s y`all, not ya`ll. The contraction is to eliminate the "ou' in "you all". Y`all is a corruption of ole English "ye all" as spoken by early Scottish settlers to the South, my ancestors included. Y`all is always plural, speaking to more than three people, would be addressed as, "all y`all". End of lesson.

I looked above at what T square typed.

"What is the plural of ya'll?"

Again..."y`all" is always plural. Singular would be something like...."hey Cooter" or "hey Bobby Joe".

What is the plural of ya'll?

Oh and where's that "all your bases be mine" thingy? There are no "North" bases anymore. (Only yankee bases)

And one more thing... The proper name of that little conflagration is The War of Northern Aggression.
The plural of "y'all" is "you'ins"; it's monosyllabic, rhymes with "guns"

if you mean the Barbecue Kitchen, it's been back open for quite some time. i also live one block from the Brake Pad. Good eats there, as well as either of Tony Morrow's places on Main Street. I will be living in College Park until my daughter graduates from Woodward in the spring. There's a pretty nice upper middle class hood in College Park of mostly Woodward families.

What do you think about The Pecan and The Feed Store? I like Manchester Arms and Pho Dai Loi.
