Huh? The most junior captains at those airlines except UPS, are in the 2003-2005 range while Delta is the late 90's. They also all make Delta widebody captain pay. There has been a lot more hiring in the last decade at those carriers than Delta. The bankruptcy contracts also sunk Delta and NWA way below those other carriers, until recently.

I bet you in a year Delta will be lowering its minimums.

Yep. They went on pause back in 08, nothing has happened much with anyone since then, now they are still on pause while DL/UA/AA/US are cranking things back up. There's a good 5 year backlog of applicants.

That must mean most of you guys aren't top notch. If you think DAL, who has 12,000 applications for 300 slots, is already out of highly qualified folks, you're nuts.
