Here's my timeline--Nov email invite, Jan interview, and cleared to train 6 weeks later--exactly 3 months from invite to background checks complete. 10 months of applying and networking paid off and excited to have a plan after I retire this summer.
App on file for 7 years before a call :/ Worth it!

more to the story...24 years of networking and 10 yrs planning the transition off active duty. Lots of folks to thank along the way.

I doubt they will. However they will hire 600 which is more important.

I doubt they will. However they will hire 600 which is more important. I think they learned their lesson when they said they would start the hiring process in 2012. The caught a lot of heat for that. One online forum crucifies them over and over for it. If they announce 600 and hire 500 because something changes they will get hammered again by that same forum.

Can you define "they/them" and do they really make business announcements based on a forum? I do like the 600 number though....not a day too early.

Weren't you arguing just a few days ago that "they" didnt say that "they" would begin the hiring process in 2012?
