N/A is sufficient. Don't leave it blank.

As noted prior, there are eyes on these apps. Everyone thinks it's entitely computer driven...... It's not.

Thanks for making my morning! You obviously don't know squat one about Derg, he'd find this post hilarious! Might even give him a call later to give him a heads up. You sound butthurt over someone helping instead of pulling up the ladder.

This guy Fegelein (who apparently is an acquaintance of mine since he knows my Marine Corps nickname though I don't have a clue who he is ), is having a great time amusing himself on a variety of forums expounding on ACMI , FedEx's future, and now apparently he is haunting the Delta threads, like most trolls he is the voice of negativity , here to stir things up not to add anything meaningful to the conversation, best to ignore him, though in truth I am genuinely curious to where we actually crossed paths. Cheers.

9 of 16 hired today. My buddy didn't have too many details because the group was split at the start of the day, but he did say only 1 of the FOs interviewed made it and 3 pure mil guys didn't.

Yikes. While that's closer to the historic rate long term, its way below what we've been seeing recently. Hope its an anomaly. If they're running smaller classes for a while to catch up on the pipeline as rumored, I'd hope they wouldn't take it out on the interviewees. Hopefully it was just a rough day.

Rumor confirmed.
The Crew Resources newsletter published today said to expect smaller classes for awhile.
They hired as fast as possible the last few months to get spooled up for summer but now the simulator schedule is the bottleneck.
Not enough sims.
The two new 737 simulators should help some.

Are the new 737 sims already online? Or coming soon?

The slowdown in hirring was planned before the big surge of 100 - 150/month started last fall. Actually, from crew resources standpoint the high throughput in q4 and q1 was a surge to cover summer flying, and they are now returning to a more normal capacity. They were actually planning on going to around 60 pilots per month, but determined they need closer to 80. I believe they said they will ramp up again in the fall.

So fear not, this is not a new development nor does it portend a demise in near term hiring.
