My online masters was through a brick and mortar school, no way to tell unless someone asks me. Perhaps that is what got me the call.

I had an APC member review my app and it changed it tremendously and then an EC review. About a week later (@ a little less than 6 months to available) I got an invite. This was about a month ago. I took 7 years to get my undergrad (working, having kids, and lost about a year of credits due to degree change). My undergrad GPA was 2.7. No letters of rec, no internal recs. Low time single engine attack pilot (about 1600 TT). I do have some unique things in my background. According to the gouge above I shouldn't have gotten an invite, I am very greatful for the invite. So for all those who haven't gotten an invite, the gouge is not always true.
Re: "gouge is not always true".......yep, I agree with that 100%. Gouge is a guideline but not an absolute. One guy on another thread was kicked out of school for a 0.4 GPA. He rebounded and graduated with a 2.98 and then got a 4.0 on his Master's degree, yet he thinks he's screwed because of the 0.4. Not so, I told him. Delta is NOT looking for perfect pilots because quite frankly they don't exist. Congrats on the interview. Did it work out?

Any idea what a Tier 2 candidate would look like from the Civilian sector?

Till they re-shuffle sort rank compare contrast rack and stack and REDEFINE what "tier 1" is after running through the up till this time used "tier 1" criteria .

IOW, "supply and demand" catches up and what was at the top of "tier 2" now qualifies as "tier 1".

To some guys, a 2 at 10 is a 10 at 2, they just never tell her that

Don't know yet, in January.

What's your online master's in, if I may ask?

Just curious.

Maybe you got insight on the addendum where they ask if you have applied before. When you update, technically haven't you previous applied? Or am I overthinking, Congrats.

I had kept track of the date of every update for about 5 years. When one of my rec's reviewed my app about a year and a half ago, he had me remove those dates since I had not actually ever interviewed.

For the civilian guys, I have not gotten a call, late 40's, 6500tt, over 4000 PIC, 500 TPIC (turbo props, part 135), 2300 CRJ 2/7/9 part 121, engineering degree (2.82), 1/2 of a masters degree (4.0 currently), over 15 years of verifiable volunteer work, 6 internal recs, no dui's, no arrests (as an adult. Kids these days!). I have had an app in since 2008, I think. I have not done the job fair thing since 2010. No chance for chief pilot or training department in this decade. I'm hoping these quals put me in tier 2 for a call next year. We will see.

Good luck to all, and happy Thanksgiving!

I'd only list something under previously applied if you've actually interviewed previously. Your AirlineApps updates are all on the same application until it gets pulled for an interview. That's per multiple application reviews.
