The school offers online class options similar to Embry-Riddle, and a degree can be completed without physically attending the school.
I knew a few pilots that got hired with it years ago, don't know about now.

Having a degree or not is of course the big dividing line. Beyond that, GPA is very important. After that, they do look at the school, major and other factors like were you working or partying hardy. The entire situation is used holistically to help tell the story of the applicant. All of it matters, and its all weighted to various extents.

How do they track internal recs? If one was submitted within less than 12 months from the last does that hurt the applicant, or do they just toss it out?

From my understanding, when a current DAL pilot recommends you it ensures your app will be "looked at" and scored. If you don't score high enough and don't receive an invite, another rec. within a year doesn't have any impact on getting another look. It certainly never hurts you to have internal recs though and they don't throw them out.

When you update your AirlineApps application, does it show what you had previously prior to each update, or just whatever you have in there currently? I'm just curious as to how it shows the application reviewer your app and what/when you've made changes. Not that it really makes a difference, I'm just more curious than anything

I'm not on that side of the curtain, but I have to believe no one is tracking changes made to your app. It'll get a score when it's pulled for that purpose, and that version is likely never seen again. If you get an interview, you'll be asked to update it within seven days of your interview, and that's what you and the panel will have in front of them on your lucky day.

I'm not 100% sure whether the application reviewer can track the history and changes on your app (but I doubt he/she can). However, you should note a recent important change airlineapps.com made on the website. It used to automatically update your "application date" when you logged in to the website but now you have to do it manually and hit the "application update" button (or whatever it calls) to give your application the most recent update.

Yes I saw that yesterday. I like it because it gives you a firm date as to when you last updated that app for that company.
