Why only 25 planes? Were there only 25 in the class today or had some picked their planes previously?

Might be time to dust off the old spreadsheet... that thing was money last year when the pool was a 4-6 month swim.

Thanks for the responses guys. Just curious do most of you work at your previous jobs right up until the day you started indoc at delta or give yourself a couple weeks off?

I think I may hold the land speed record. About 6 hrs. No lie.

Finally hit "send" at about 5am. Closed the laptop. Opened it at lunch and had an invite.

In the past year, I've seen everything from 60 days to 1.5 weeks from when I sent the email to the desk to when that pilot got an invite or a fix it. I have heard of others happening in under a week.

Bl: it depends. So definitely make sure the pilot's App is ready before hitting "send."

I worked right up until my Indoc date. I did use vacation though for those last two weeks. I felt it was important to still be employed in case something happened preventing the class from starting and being out of work in that case.
