Either way, awesome news about the pace finally picking up! I don't know how the May/Jun CJOs paddled for soooooo long.
The thing I find intersting/curious is that with all the talk of more classes, we are still well below what was getting trained a year ago. Last year they put through 120 per month for the early part of the year. Now with two additional sims available, they are only putting through 105? I would have thought they'd want to get staffed up in time for the summer season, and now would be the time to do that. A Feb indoc probably hits the line around May? Maybe I'm missing something...

Even with the new sims we can't keep up. On the ER guys awarded the training back in March are just now doing their TOE. The company just wasnt ready for this amount of training. It'll take some time but it appears they me be finally catching up. Another AE came out today which is for sure to back up training once again. 120 a month was not a realistic goal last year.

They were taking delivery of 5 to 6 new airframes per month last year. The 717 deliveries are over and they simply don't need as many pilots this year. They are still planning 600 to 700 for the year which averages out to 50 to 60 a month. They always front load for the summer flying. I would expect that will drop in the May to June timeframe. There may according to crew planning be a uptick in the fall depending on the E190 deliver schedule. Overall they are planning for a 2% increase in mainline block hours or about 260 jobs and 300 to 350 retirements.

MSP 88 by a year is likely.
I wouldn't say likely. Friends who have been on property over a year haven't gotten it yet. There's none on this AE either so best chance a couple might get back filled.

I can't speak to other airframes, but the 717 is down 1 sim. 2 currently operational, there were 3 at this time last year. That's a drop from 21 to 14 crews per month.

Current MSP plug is on the 7ER. March 2015 hire.
This is an anomaly and I'd expect to see the plug on the 88 again soon.
