DAL Poolie Info
#6032
I got the same e-mail, and my AirlineApps account is inactive (my contact info has remained the same). So, as long as your contact info hasn't changed, there is no need to pay for another year. The data remains in your inactive file and Delta can see it.
If your contact info HAS changed, then you need to update it on AirlineApps, which requires an active account.

Multi million dollar career. You worked hard to get to this point.

Dear Mr. xxxx,
As long as your AirlineApps contact information is correct you do NOT have to pay to renew your subscription. We can always access your online application even if it is expired.
Best regards,

If I were not actually in class, I would still have active applications on file at all of the other places I would like to work. I would only allow my subscription to lapse if I already had a job at another Major and were waiting for my class date at Delta to change companies. Some people have different risk tolerances than I do. I'm under 40, and I also updated my medical before it was 6 months old, because I didn't want to have my employment delayed by an erroneous request to get my medical back into date. If you are comfortable taking those risks to save that small amount of money in the short term, so be it. I would not be.
