If your contact info HAS changed, then you need to update it on AirlineApps, which requires an active account.
For $60 bucks I would pay to have an active account until my ass is in class.

Multi million dollar career. You worked hard to get to this point.

Dear Mr. xxxx,

As long as your AirlineApps contact information is correct you do NOT have to pay to renew your subscription. We can always access your online application even if it is expired.

Best regards,

For those in the shallow end of the pool, watch for emails soon. They are filling a 08Feb class.

If I were not actually in class, I would still have active applications on file at all of the other places I would like to work. I would only allow my subscription to lapse if I already had a job at another Major and were waiting for my class date at Delta to change companies. Some people have different risk tolerances than I do. I'm under 40, and I also updated my medical before it was 6 months old, because I didn't want to have my employment delayed by an erroneous request to get my medical back into date. If you are comfortable taking those risks to save that small amount of money in the short term, so be it. I would not be.

Is the commute from DFW to ATL a challenge for new hires? I understand that there a ton a senior pilots left from the old DFW domicile days in the area.

Supposedly one of the toughest in the system. Also remember the senior fa's that are now commuters.

I know one guy from Fort Worth that commutes to either Nyc or Dtw for easier commutes. Ymmv!

Interesting Intel. You get the email offering class, or someone you know?
