Not understanding your logic here? (Not intended to sound obtuse.) You're saying that if someone carries their own headset, then leaves the aircraft without plugging-in the company headset they're a DB? How is said person who leaves the aircraft, assuming the next person to get on the aircraft has their own too, a DB?

For reference: I carry my own Telex 850. (717) I have never once plugged the company headset back in, thinking the next person may have their own too. (Guess that makes me a DB?) I choose to think of it as:
1) Saving the other person time, if they have their own headset, OR
2) Not being that big of a gawd dam deal if they don't. The Co. headset is easily accessible and takes maybe an additional five seconds to connect.

Good day.

Is there a company roster that shows which aircraft will have the highest % of retirements over the next 5 years? Specifically, the 320 or 737?

I know the wide-body types will have the most retirements, but there are some senior narrow-body types content with domestic flying throughout their career in the 73 and 320.

Do more pilots bid into the 320 or 737 percentage wise?

when you get your onboarding stuff to set up deltanet go to flight operations-crew resources and scheduling-category and staffing lists-5 year mandatory retirements by category

I think it depends on the fleet. I know on the Airbus, I found most guys used the company supplied Telex. I used my own earpiece so I always plugged the company headset back in before I left. I don't thinks it's a big deal either way. If guys get their shorts in a wad over this, they have bigger issues

On the Airbus the vast majority of folks seem to use the aircraft one, and it's that way for at least 99% of the dudes I've flown with. The headset thing is actually written in the Airbus OE guide too about do's and don'ts. I had my own Telex but found its easier to use the supplied one than it is for me to pack and unpack my own, especially when I'm in a hurry to catch a JS home. It isn't that hard to unwind the aircraft one and plug it back in if you used your own. I did it when I used my own. It just makes life that much simpler for the next crew, but hey I try to be considerate of others.

I blame all headset issues on myself. I don't own one and typically don't check to see if it is plugged in until the absolute last second in which I need it, and then I am only mildly annoyed (at myself) when I realize it's wrapped up and sitting on the oxygen bottle or the hook on the aft bulkhead.

It's the internet, people tend to exaggerate their annoyances and go out of their way to be butthurt over nothing. The cockpit is nothing like these forums.

This is the toilet seat debate for sure.
