Sorry guys, and I know this info is probably buried in this thread somewhere. I got the fixit email about 2 months ago. Fixed it within 24 hours, and responded back to the email address that sent the fixit email. I have heard guys getting called 2 days later, alternatively I have heard guys getting called a year later. I have a very competitive app, current chief pilot with a 121 carrier (low on the PIC but at least 500 hours), 5000+ hours 121 time, internship at a major that is no longer around and had a red tail , 4 year degree, clean driving record, no DUI's, no 121 failures, volunteer, polished app, gone to job fairs. Just curious what needs to be done to get an interview...I see people leaving left and right for FedEx, DAL, UAL, AAL, Alaska, SWA, but can't get a call, I've networked, networked, networked...still nothing

Thx, guys. After studying it more intently than before, plus some other info, that's what I thought. Thx for clarifying!

First, stay positive.....if they sent you the 'fix it' e-mail, at least you know they want to consider you.

Second, your low PIC may be hurting you. Just a thought. (although if it were terrible I don't know if you would have even got the 'fix it' e-mail....ask your buds getting picked by DAL how much PIC time they had) Edit: 500 hrs? I bet it's your PIC time.
Third, they just might be busy draining the pool and haven't got back to you yet. I'm guessing with your background you're well aware of the ginormous pool. Good news is it's supposed to be drained by May-ish.

Fourth, if you don't have any internal recs from Delta bros (NOT the ones sent in via AirlineApps.com but the ones that go straight to the DAL pilot hiring guys by way of Delta's internal e-mail) I recommend you get a couple of those.

I'm a lowly poolie so you might want to see what some actual Delta pilots on this thread say. They lurk here and comment sometimes to keep the rest of swimming in our neat little lanes.

Good luck! My money says you'll get here before too long!

I appreciate the positive feedback...I have had 4 internals sent in via the internal DL email. I also have 13 (all DL) rec's on my airline apps. I know they want you to get recs from people that have flown with you so I have tried to do everything I can to go that route.

Catboatsailor,
Was the campground you stayed at the Atlanta South RV Resort? by the Target? Just wondering because I'm thinking about doing the same thing. How was the Wi-Fi?

I appreciate the good info others have provided as well.

Cheers.

Default 3/22 Spreadsheet Update

Here you go. Added the drop from 3/21 and the invitees to 4/11. Rapid pool draining, but I have such limited interview data from Feb, the March people shouldn't get too excited. Either way, looks like most people on the spreadsheet will be on property by Jun. Congrats to all.

Cheers,
Badger

My buddy interviewed today and they went 6 of 10.

Told to expect Indoc class in May or June.
