Out of 30 people in my class... Maybe 8 were solo. Various reasons.

A couple were because they were unmarried, even though they were in long term relationships. Rule was, no ring, no invite. Not sure if that's still the case.

Back when the wait time from CJO-Indoc was around 9 months, there were at least 5 going solo due to wives at the end of pregnancy. The dinner was put together very well, not cheesy at all. I would try to get your wife to suck it up and go to this one event.

You won't be the only solo. My wife had to work.

Default Packing Heat in the Cockpit

Hey, guys, thx for chiming in about the formal dinner. If my wife chooses not to go at least I know I won't look like a leper.

Switching gears.....yesterday's terrorist attack.....what does a Delta pilot have to do to be able to legally carry a gun in the cockpit? Do many guys/gals do this? From what I know, which as a senior poolie is next to nothing, I definitely want to do that.

Apply to the Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) program. Just search it online for all the details.

Good Lord! Don't let Cardiomd or packrat know. You'll only set them off!

You wont look like a leper....but who cares if you do?

Different thought, my wife came out Friday, we had a nice weekend together where Delta covered flight and hotel. Doesnt just have to be a dinner.
