I thought there would've been more bases/aircraft than just NY based on all of the unfilled vacancies from the last AE.

Would someone be so kind as to PM me with what they paid for hotels throughout training recently. I have some money put away, but just want to see how much of it will be used. Expecting a july class from my 9E SSP CJO.

I felt like I needed to study during training. There aren't too many places worse than a crash pad to study (or sleep). I did the crash pad thing for 9 months in NYC; and while I'm a big fan of not using "never" in my vocabulary, I'm as close as can be to saying I'll never stay in a crash pad again. Yuck.

I had a pretty good experience with mine. $350 for my own room and I walked to the training center. The place was always quiet. The pilot who owns them has a couple others as well. Its an old house so nowhere near as clean as a hotel, but compared to several others in my indoc class I had it easy. They paid triple that for an AirBnB and had much worse experiences. YMMV. Feel free to PM me if you want contact info for the place I stayed.

I had my own bedroom. One other guy staying in other room, I saw him twice that month.
I ended up doing all my studying at the GO anyway. The pad was where I slept.
