Looking for input:
1. Assuming that LAX will NOT be in the drop next week, what might be decent plays to get based in LAX quickly? (I live in San Diego and car commuting to LAX for my current airline is nice)
1.a. What are generally the better bases for commuters from SAN or SNA? Looking for input on both ease of commute as well as QOL. (As a commuter I'm all about getting used on RSV)
If I remember right, there were unfullled LAX 717 B positions unfullled which means they can show up in a drop. I'll try and check tomorrow. 717 has 30 hour layovers in SAN as well.

But the turns go super senior. I bid 29% and I can't touch them out of the bid. They're worth great money! I've been able to avoid redeyes for most of my time since hired but yes we do have them.

I was a 7 Mar indoc and 6 of is got LAX on the AE that was open while we were in indoc. A senior LAX FO friend told me to take the 717 over the 73 because it would get me to LA quicker and I'd make more money in the next year or two off it anyway. He's trending correct. I will say that there isn't a ton of movement in the LAX 73 and they have upped the 717 pilots in LAX. There were unfilled spots on the last AE too.

Just an FYI for the group, but MIA is now also doing training for the A320, in addition to the 717. Same setup: 1st 2 weeks in ATL, 2nd 2 weeks in MIA.

Rumors of training in LSV have also been teased for MD-88s, but they're still insubstantiated.

MD88's at Nellis? That will be some serious under wing. I suggest 2.75 FFAR.

Yup, the Greenslip with Conflict Party is turning into just a regular Greenslip party. Company has been pretty quick putting that fire out. But that usually means smoke is starting somewhere else.....
