I hired a young kid in the neighborhood to do chores. Trash cans, mows the lawn and rakes leaves. I give him $10 a week, year round. Every Christmas he gets a card and $100.
I told him he's getting a raise, a buck a week. That's a 10% pay raise I exclaimed. But I need him to wash windows and pick up the dog poop. And the Christmas cards are history. Guess what he figured out? |

The new changes to sick leave are retroactive to June 1, 2015. Ok. Then why is the pay only retroactive to July 1, 2015?
