As has already been said...SEA, SLC, LAX, ATL pilots...you know what has to be done here. Nestor never ceases to disappoint.

Let us hope not Carl.

I really feel that everyone was doing their best to represent their pilots wishes and best interests. Sincerely.

Whether you like or hate this vote. The reps worked incredibly hard.

The reps had their work cut out for them. I think it was a serious Catch 22 decision for all of them.

Thanks to all for staying engaged. Please continue to educate yourselves and others and make the best decision you can. Make those decisions based on facts. good cross examination at road shows and the logic or lack thereof of the contract.

Thank you to the reps. And vigorous debate is vital to a healthy democracy.

See and decide?? You mean with a neutral and objective analysis from the MEC I assume. Or are you referring to us being able to withstand the sales job? Complete with ALPA lawyers calling and harassing line pilots.

This means the JV will be less restrictive and Virgin Atlantic will do more of the heavy lift and all 15 yo FO's can upgrade to a E195.

Working hard means nothing professor. Working for who you represent is what matters, and there's no way on Earth you'll ever be able to spin that the YES voting reps did so because their pilots demanded it.

I think that IF this moves on with a no vote.

It needs to be a deafening defeat.

If it passes. It passes.

I would start talking to reps about the info you want to see and how you will not tolerate a sales job.

Just the facts, please.

Yeah, it sounds like MOST of them did just that BUT if any one or more of them voted yes because they felt it needed to be passed on to a vote of the pilots, they have abdicated their responsibility and need to be recalled. I don't want a milk toast representative on the MEC making decisions he cannot defend.

I appreciate the hard work they do, so it is a difficult decision to fire them. It is not a decision I take lightly, but regardless of the quantity of hard work they do, the quality and direction of work is what matters.

Two years ago, I hired a plumber to install a water heater and do plumbing for a bathroom. The water heater leaked after two attempts to fix it and he failed to install the seal between the tank and basin on the toilet, which also caused a leak. Even though he worked hard, I fired him over the quality of his work.

This is the same thing. I appreciate the hard work, but it is not the quality of work I hired (voted) them for.

Our current contract is better than the TA, the 8% is nice. But I'll stick with my cards, gamble on retro pay. I've been here 30 years this fall, I have never seen a better environment to negotiate meaningful improvements. Instead, I see concessions in so many sections. Why?
