Here's the first carrot.
Just so you know... don't let this influence your vote. I was made aware of the intentions to get more 739s months ago...

But this nonsense of "if you vote yes we order new jets" has got to stop. Mgmt will buy the jets and configure them and fly them where they best see fit. Hey, they are very good at it too!
In fact our current mgmt is smart enough that there is no way they would construct an entire fleet strategy contingent on the votes of the pilot group--any more than they would construct our Sky Club, seat configuration, frequent flyer program, cargo operations, delta.com website design or any other element to our company's operations.

I can not believe that any FO rep could honestly vote YES to this POS. What a bunch of tools. Talk about weak. My rep voted NO but if I was in a Council that had a FO rep vote yes on this he would be toast. What a p**ssy. No wonder mgmt. owns us. Where do we find such brave men to lead us? Never mind.

I might have said the same thing 24 hours ago. But this TA and the MEC voting (particularly FOs!) have introduced me to some sort of strange and shi##y alternate reality. Anything is possible when the union that represents me is really just the company I work for.

I'm mostly a lurker here and rarely post. The definition of "silent majority" has my picture next to it.
I've voted yes on every contract since 2000.
I'm voting HELL NO on C2015. Not even close. Why my rep would even consider sending it forward is mindboggling.
I've never been interested in DPA. A month ago I would have laughed if someone offered me a card. I would have asked if they were still around.
Today there's a card in my mailbox with the ink still drying.
First, we're going to vote down this POS TA. Then we're going to talk about representation. If DPA can reign in the loonies and find some leadership then I'm listening.
