Someone said they saw the TA getting prepped for roadshows. I'll post the pic below.

WOW...ratification period reduced to 30 days...we will be voting on this TURD while it is still warm and steaming...unbelievable!!!
I could see DALPA pushing for an extension for just the reason you alluded to. If they feel any traction is being made at the road shows, they'll say the pilots need more time to learn the details and a 45-60 day ratification period is what we "demand." My mind is made up. I don't need to see the details unless "S-I-K-E" is on the last page of the PWA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A closed group can be formed and fpl types, mgmt, and union officers can be kept out. It would be solely a tool for pilots to post what they have discovered to be unacceptable in the TA. We used this at XJT and in a few days almost half the pilot group were members of the group. This group was the turning point of the TA, and could not be controlled by the MEC or the company.
Conversation was kept to evaluation of the TA and nothing questionable was said by members that might have gotten them in trouble. Delta Pilots Against Contract 2015 TA |
Strategic Plan
You really need to view the slide presentation that the SPC unveiled June 10 regarding our "plan B" if the TA is voted down.
It is pitiful. No plan at all. Just more reasons to vote "yes". On MEC website- committees -strategic planning committee. Early No mention of the word "retroactive" |
It is a disappointment that this TA even made it out of the negotiating room. This is a win-win for the company. Man they are good. We vote yes, then we are working under this POS. We vote no and the company saves even more money at our expense. Either way we will be under a sub-par contract for the foreseeable future. They win either way. Before yesterday, I would have thought this unbelievable that our union would put us in this situation. There was certainly no need to rush this. They should still be in the board room sitting across the table from each other.
I've seen it written that the NC did not meet the direction of the MEC or in line with the survey results (of course I cannot prove this because it is in the MEC lockbox), so why did they agree to it in the first place and so soon? Thanks to all the reps who had the knowledge and courage to vote No. |

Junglebus,
At first blush it looks like a crap deal. I thought the exact same thing. It has taken be three days to understand it. There are downside protections now. Our 757's get included in the balance. UK traffic is removed. And we spent get penalized for upguaging as we take delivery of 330's/350's. This and sick leave are elements I feel need the most individual scrutiny and debate. I appreciate your efforts. You are in a hard position. Please pass my response (below) to the people who I pay, monthly, including you. http://replygif.net/i/691.gif |

Early No mention of the word "retroactive" I'm with Denny Crane on the math, this is like a 3% raise vs getting parked for the duration. Sorry, I don't call in sick really ever, so I have to leave that one to the rest of you. The rest is kind of 'meh' for me as well. |
APCF FAQ ABOUT TA2015
Let me try this. If you have a question about the TA or see a good question and you don't want it lose in the avalanche of posts, send me a PM and I'll save it on to this word document. If we get a DALPA answer, in all fairness, I'll post it. You can of course write a follow up question if you don't like the answer. |
