I told him that I am okay with that, because what we gave up to get that caused me to commute across the country for a year because of the new hire seat lock... Now all of a sudden we are supposed to give up the good we got for, wait for it, an even longer new hire seat lock! I wonder if that Captain had a new hire seat lock?? Clearly I haven't stolen enough!

I'll address the JV language again here shortly with answers to some of my own concerns that were asked and answered.
This was bar none my biggest worry in the contract and its a 'meh', fine change for me now. FYI Delta wide body capacity is to grow 9% via deliveries in the life of this contract. I'll be back with more info on JV language. But please keep writing questions down, the road shows will be sporty for the NC committee, as they should be. |

Here is the simple fact: This total TA comes down to an 8% hourly increase and massive concessions. 8% DOS The 6% 1/1/16 is fully offset by a reduction in profit sharing. A reduction 98% of the Delta pilots opposed. The 3% in 2017 and 2018 will barely cover cost of living if we are lucky. Spread the word to every pilot you come in contact with. Simply said that is factually incorrect. Please reference the bar chart I posted earlier. It would be factually correct to say that these pay raises are not worth it for you. |

What page of the TA has the 9% widebody capacity growth during the life of the PWA?
It's not it the TA. That is public information based on fleet plans. |

But... I owe everyone much better JV language data. No question. It makes me incredibly nervous too. Please bear with me for a bit. |

Ok. I was afraid to consider DPA. I don't believe they have the resources and political reach, particularly with the foreign carrier threat, to combat far reaching issues.
But I'm finally reconsidering. If DALPA can't even negotiate a contract with Delta during peak times, perhaps I'm wrong In my thinking. 1) Will ALPA continue to fight the ME3 Carriers without Delta? I think the answer is yes 2) Will DPA join in the fight against the ME 3 carriers? Most likely |

So they don't have to pay a penalty when they violate that promise. I am going to start my own airline with A380s point to point LGA to EWR. Standby for my revised business plan. After further consideration I have decided to reduce capacity due to economic conditions. The service is being indefinitely temporarily reduced to 0. |

Thanks for keeping a cool head and replying to all the inquiries. Seems like you're a one man show on that front from the ALPA side. Could you lay out that 9% wide body growth by airframe and year for the timeframe covered by the TA? Thanks. |
