I've noticed this web board only catalogues back to a certain point. Does anybody know of an easy way to save all the responses on this board for future reference?

Also, I believe it would be in this pilot groups best interest to get out your phones and start video taping the road shows. Hopefully this will motivate those speaking to keep answers accurate/honest but also be a reference for potential claims later.

If misleading, dishonest or half truth information is being decimated, a class action lawsuit by the pilots against DALPA for damages would be appropriate.

Very true. How the vendor sell their services......."we charge X, but we will save you that X + Y% in claims"

Not only that (the classic scum bag insurance company "deny deny deny" tactic) but when they play denial mode with this, its our jobs that are on the line.

Once you cross any of the thresholds, which 20-30% of the pilot group will do in any given year, you better hope the underlying condition is "verifiable" to a potentially hostile third party. Get a horrible flu with a high fever? You got lucky, because anyone can verify that. Feel nautious or have a headache or just ache all over with no other "verifiable" symptoms? "Patient claims XYZ, could not comfirn nor deny". Is that going to be enough to save your career? You willing to bet your career on that, every illness for the rest of your career? For an 8% raise?

And what if its not? All they have to do is take a hostage or two, and suddenly if you don't feel well but you don't know for certain that its 100% verifiable to someone else's standards, well you better just drag your butt in and fly sick or it could be you fighting for your career and your family's livelyehod by trying to prove the unprovable.

Hoo Boy...if the FB feed is halfway accurate and they have video (supposedly they do) then standby for your ATL PTC road show video.

In both cases the initial support I received from ALPA was poor to non existent.

At least I was able to walk into a chief pilot's office and speak face-to-face with a fellow pilot to sort out the denial coming from a cubicle in ATL. When the people in the cubicle in ATL no longer belong to Flight-Ops, that will be a lot more difficult...

This.
You used to be able to call in sick.
Then you needed documentation.
Then the doctors note wasn't good enough.
What's next? I really don't want to know.

Not on FB. What did I miss?

According to the feed, it was quite an event from the get go and ending with a raucous Q and A session. Yelling (both sides), impassioned speeches, informed questions, jeers, cheers. It didn't sound like a warm and fuzzy hometown event. I'm not there though and not a reliable witness.

Supposedly the video will be posted and you can judge for yourself. Not sure on what platform though. Probably FB.

Quotes to live by over the last decade..

"I was not brought here to facilitate a merger." False
"A historic contract that we can all be proud of" False
"The line in the sand is 70 seat RJ's" False
"Do it once, do it right" False
"RJs are saving our bacon" False

Anybody seeing a pattern? It becomes very hard to trust and believe management and/or ALPA when their lips are moving given past precedence. Sorry, but my tolerance for accepting the truth based on vague language and promises are over.

If this means you are not going to answer the specific questions above you should be banned. We had a conversation here a week ago when you began presenting half truths. Myself and others called you out on it. You've been asked to stop doing this many times now. We asked you be honest and inclusive in your answers. You have continued to mislead.

Airline Pilot Central is NOT our now rogue unions (DALPA's) personal propaganda machine. It lowers the value of the site and encourages people to stop coming here for reliable information. You have cherry picked, provided misleading information and in general tried to sell this TA through the use of confusing, mislabeled answers, inserting nonfactual conjecture.

Chit chat had some of the first pics of the PTC roadshow...

DALPA will post it? So, they will edit to only include their talking points or anyone who agreed? Did anyone outside the MEC/PP union guys agree?
