If Malone or a relative outsider is the new MC, I agree. We ought to give it a year or so.

However....if a Moakist/company puppet is installed in September (Havrilla, etc.), I don't think we have a year. We'll have to mash the button ASAP.

Yeah, I agree, if DALPA just puts in another Appeasement Clown as the MEC Chair, then tweaks the TA by 2% and throws it back at us, we need to vote it down again, and then we need to run a serious DPA drive to replace those idiots.

There is one massive issue, a +2% tweak is a gain. They said that would never happen.

This TA was a mistake, and the sales strategery was a colossal failure in it's sales job was a major mistake. They got themselves in a bind and I'm sure RA and the company are face palming ALPA's sales tactics.

Total 100% BS.

When sailingfud does this kind of stuff folks, you just need to let it go by. He literally just makes things up and doesn't even care when he gets busted. He just keeps posting BS and moving on. It's what he does.

Absolutely agree with the entire post.

Except that once we did give them up (BK agreements) and in fact did get them back a few years ago (via side letter no less).

It can be done. But it surely doesn't need to be the case right now that we need to put ourselves in such a position as to need to recoup them.... jumbled enough sentence?

Care to respond?
Geez dude, I don't respond within a few hours and you ping me again? I thought you Special Committee guys got paid by the day, not by the post.

Regardless, I've heard nothing of the sort as you Special Committee dorks are saying about Dolloway. I doubt he or anyone else has ever been denied a Jumpseat if you were a legit 121 pilot. We NWA guys didn't do that. But it would be typical of you guys to turn a possible single such incident into your proof of how awful everything was at NWA. Same Shiznit, different day. Nobody believes anything from you guys anyway...you've shot all credibity.

Well now I can't tell if this is Hanson or Curly.

If we deliver 1 dollar net in the next TA, it's a dollar more than the failed TA. Your 1.1 billion dollar figure is completely made up without any evidence to support it. I believe the WSJ and Barons when their analysis showed the failed TA may well have costed Delta nothing extra over the current TA.

We'll definitely do better than one dollar, so relax and study up on how to be a line pilot again.

J. Malone would be an excellent choice to finish off Donatelli's term. If he does good, maybe he will be considered for a full term. The trick will be how many current MEC yesmen (those that survive recall or re-election) will be working with him rather than working to grind an old axe.

Yes, and I believe he would try to preclude the engineering of Wilson polling questions framed so as to get answers that facilitate the shadow MEC's agenda. Malone is a big step in the right direction.
