I especially liked the carve out that prohibited a pilot from using a family member with a medical degree as the point of treatment. Just because your wife is an OBGYN doesn't mean that they can't treat the common cold or an ear infection. Give me a break.
I have a half a dozen doctors in my neighborhood. One of them is even an AME. I can't use any of them. Is that ridiculous or what?
This entire section was a joke. It looked like the Three Stooges crafted it. Once the membership started asking hard questions, it made our NC and the crackerjack ALPA lawyers look like complete chumps. Fortunately, commonsense prevailed.

RockyMtMD11,
I think there are a fair number of folks that voted "yes" without reading the TA. I'll bet there a number of yes voters who saw the pay raise and that's all they needed. What's your take on those folks? And based on some of your posts here, it appears that even you, the all knowing smartest guy in the room missed some details in the TA.
Can you explain what you're doing? The TA was voted down and you're still defending it. What's your angle?
Just as an FYI, the more you post, the more I'm convinced we need something other than ALPA representing DAL pilots. So if that was your goal - to convince fence sitters such as me of such a need, you're doing a great job. Keep it up.
One last question - do you consider yourself a pilot advocate?
