Back to the subject at hand. We will get our pay rate increase of up to 3% in the coming years. First bump should be December 1st.
"3 B.4. language remains in effect, giving us up to 3% raises in the coming years."
"Any raises granted to more than 30% of our fellow employees will be matched for us, up to 3% annually."

When that happens (3 years down the road?), if we've traded our PS for money, then what will the company want us to concede next? The money we traded for the PS?
Not saying one way or the other what is better, just figure most people can figure it out on their own. 65% already did.

No, I don't think so. When the non-contracts get their raise on 01December we will be at parity with UAL and AMR.
I think the companies position is that until the non-contracts get another raise in 2016 3B4 does not kick in.
I say I don't think so because I am not sure. At the C-16 Meeting Chairman Malone stated that he asked the laywers to look at this issue.
We can always hope but I am not holding my breath on this. Time will tell.

It's not even a gray area. A grievance will be wasted money and spend arbitration capital we may need later. Malone won't file a grievance and it's the correct thing to do.

My guess is, it will pass the MEC after the C44 purge.

So we waste a bunch of money and arbitrators time. They have a collective memory on unions that do that. It might bite us in the ass on something important like a seniority integration.

Feel better, got the DB jab in for the day? Careful, don't want to fall off that high horse of yours.
