Delta to get EMB-190's
#101
Better chance of E170/175 coming to main line under the current rates to round out the fleet and capture the economies of scope and scale than the E190 going to the regionals. The 20 were only the first 20. Industry analysts have said 50+ makes an efficient fleet. With common type and parts and other E190s available this mainline fleet could be 120 total airframes.

I'm sad now that the e190 will be sent to one of the regionals. Probably Great Lakes. That's something I heard today on the bus. Just makes me sad. We never get new stuff. I don't know why Lee Moak keeps letting this happen.

New stuff? What new stuff?! E190s are 10 years old. 717s are 10 years old. MD90s are 12 years old. The tail dragger version of the 737 is new I guess but the airplane was originally certified in the 60s. The newest thing we own are the 50 seaters we are retiring. Ha! New. Ba humbug!
Ok, I kid.
The Airbi are new but they are still paper airplanes.
