Look at EASK/JV in the voted down contract. Pretty clear where mgt wants to head.

Another reason to keep profit sharing, if you can't hold a wide body, get paid like one.

Over 30 have left, and more than twice that have left the waiting list.

We started 1196 new hires from 1 Jan 15 to 24 Mar 16. 1180 remain on the 1 APR 16 seniority list. Attrition this year is 3 not 30 and only 16 for the last 15 months. The 16 number includes terminations.

Most men can add and subtract from a published seniority list!

On a totally unrelated side note if you want a manly pork chop while vacationing on Virginia Ave go to the Manchester Arms. You can feed two with it and have leftovers for lunch the next day!!

I retired in 2004 at age 60 after 32 years . Started on the Martin 404 and finished on the 747-400 . 3 mergers and several pay cuts but no furlough and haven't missed a retirement check yet . My son started at Delta at age 30 . Could not have been more thrilled . So just as he is about to complete his first year he tells me that FedEx called . "What , you are not going are you ???? Delta is the top , you have seen Valhalla ! " After listening to him for about an hour , he convinced me . This happened this year so I guess he is one of the 3 or 30 . He got MEM 767 FO . In 30 years he will know if he made the right decision . Enjoy your career no matter where you go . Delta is a great place to be.

...and you can also tip a homeless person and employ a hooker which all may count toward your volunteerism but I would check with DAL HR first.

its the airline business.....labor, capital, and energy intensive. and as pilots....no lateral mobility in the industry.

its not the post office. those three ingredients equal instability and volatility. so the question being asked here is appropriately asked of any carrier one shows up to work for.....

this is why the imperative in any pwa is real and quantifiable value, with accrual and ownership by the individual. all the rest of the variables in this occupation are a crapshoot.
