It's nice to think about them when looking at their rates, but I don't have the TPIC to be competitive. I have thought about United, but honestly Delta is the only airline I have ever wanted to fly for. Lots of friends have went to United and it seems like they are setup to be a nice airline to work for. But I personally enjoy the experience when flying Delta as a customer that I don't get flying other airlines. It is the people that make the Delta experience and hopefully management will realize that before it's too late. Management at Delta is just doing the same thing every other corporation and our government is doing. Screwing the people that do the work and rewarding the top .25% with so much money that their great-great grandchildren will never have to work.
It's hard to hear what management is doing because you are supposed to "pay your dues" in regional hell and be rewarded with a nice career after. I guess our only hope is that people are able to see that they need to watch out for themselves and not count on the company "taking care" of them down the road. Hopefully in 30 years I can look back and say that I made the right choice in choosing Delta over everyone else.

Yes, but in 2007 it was the wrong time for those options. I actually delayed applying at Delta because I preferred FedEx and UPS. At about the 5 year point, I ruled out switching airlines. If I were hired within the last 12 months, I'd have my apps in at FedEx and UPS. United and American would be considerations because of bases and larger WB fleets. Delta has been a good place to work for the last 9 years, but there are better options in today's market.
