I'm coming from Endeavor, via the SSP interview. I received the CJO last August 8th during the big IT meltdown. They just don't want to drain the pilots from here. So we are put in a separate pool and metered to Delta. Im definitely seeing the light a t the end of the tunnel getting brighter. Excited to join the big leagues!

The C-Series is supposed to be on the next AE (bid) which should be around September or October. So there could be a chance it will be offered to new hires though I'd suspect they'll get enough of the initial slots in the AE. But who knows, it will partially depend on ultimately where they decide to put it. Recent new hires on seat lock will also be able to bid it so that might take some potential early new hire class slots.
Is the wait that backlogged now that you'd have a December class or is it an availability thing? Congrats on coming aboard!

And if you're coming from the military and don't comprehend why a shiny modern plane in NYC wont fill up, then you owe it to yourself to comb through threads in this forum and figure out why. There are mountains of posts which cover why NYC NB positions; both captain and FO, are scorned by the majority of DAL pilots.

I honestly wouldn't go to NYC to fly any aircraft even if they gave me 1 million a year..Only way I would go is if I was forced to go, or lose my job. I'm sure a lot of guys feel the same way.
