So there could be a chance it will be offered to new hires though I'd suspect they'll get enough of the initial slots in the AE. But who knows, it will partially depend on ultimately where they decide to put it. And if you're coming from the military and don't comprehend why a shiny modern plane in NYC wont fill up, then you owe it to yourself to comb through threads in this forum and figure out why. There are mountains of posts which cover why NYC NB positions; both captain and FO, are scorned by the majority of DAL pilots.
