All you really need to know is that until the next AE closes (end of this year) and there are unfilled NYC320B positions (might happen, might not) it would be a contract violation for any newhire to get NYC320B in class. Your expectation should be that there will be none, because there won't be.

After 1 year, you should be able to bid to change bases on an AE even if that requires an equipment change as your only way out.

Nah, it was in the lounge at the MAT on Airport Standby waiting every 30 minutes to see if they were going to roll out another 72 because the first one filled up and pushed before someone got to the gate and swiped their credit card before the cutoff time. Tough guys who minimize the frustrations of others can also look bad. Someone has always had it worse...we get it.

Nothing wrong with voicing displeasure, IMHO. The luck of the draw on SSN/interview date/aircraft availability creates wide variation in QOL for new hires, many of whom have overpaid life's dues before ever showing up here. That doesn't take anything away from whatever you did/got/lost in your time here.

How’s he making us look bad? He wants to change bases and our seriously crappy AE process prevents that. Just because some had it worse in the past shouldn’t prevent a little sport b..ching amongst fellow pilots. This isn’t a contest to see who has had the worst deal.

What is wrong with you guys? Of course some guys are going to have it better than you (and some will have it worse). They can still try to improve their situation even if it's vastly better than yours was. Get over it.
