Well, I’ve got no defense. Somehow I thought I was replying to Western Skies. I’m just gonna blame it on early morning reading comprehension. Carry on

EDV is a good place to work. ENY & PSA are good places to work as well. It all depends on what’s important to the individual. I bet Envoy guys would tell you about their flow or whatever base is important to them. PSA guys would talk about their QOL with SAP and quicker flow times.
Just because EDV currently has the highest pay doesn’t make it the right place for everyone. Contracts change. Fortunes change. Today’s new hotness is tomorrow’s old and busted.

Nice try, but no. Just no.
I turned down ENY for a reason, and am glad to this day that I did. And pay has ZERO to do with it.

Get over yourself. Regional pilots claiming their carrier has ‘superiority’ over other regionals is like discussing honor among thieves. They all suck, some less than others.

On the 200 it’s a new hire base. You can expect it as your initial assignment. On 900 side it’s a junior base as well, you can expect to hold it by or shortly after the end of IOE (Jan 22nd hire moves there May 1 in latest vacancy). A lot of lifer captains in DTW, but most junior lineholding captain on the 900 is a November 2014 hire, which isn’t bad. Feb 2015 on the 200 side. Of course all of this is subject to change. There are strong rumors of us getting more 700s from an airline with a crew base in DTW...

I didn’t say that pay would be the only reason to like EDV. Did you read my post? There’s a million reasons to choose one employer over another and those reasons are usually different for everyone to some extent. What is one pilot’s ‘deal breaker must have’ is another’s ‘meh’.

I meant it's probably worse at other carriers as compared to here
