If you know so much, where does it say they don’t have to upgrade? Simply because a website doesn’t mention or say they have to?

Don't get me wrong it's not the worst place to work but that carrot is getting old and stale and this rabbit is losing patience as the D does almost everything to avoid just taking us already.

Propel bothers me as it's for people not even on property. Day after day, Irop after Irop, PA after PA and we are still not good enough for the D. The details on the DGI was supposed to be like two months ago.
Ask your MEC or Negotiating committee the results of their meeting with delta on August 15.

I agree with GuardPolice here, I think the candidates will have to spend some time in the left seat before they are allowed to move.

It's been radio silence from them since the TA passed.

They will call it justifiable when everything at Endeavor hits a wall and the upgrades stop because no one is going anywhere and we aren’t growing. Therefore they will go left seat EDG to DL without having to upgrade while most of us are still waiting for are parole hearing with Delta.

The MEC/Negotiating committee is worthless. They get nothing done because they have zero power for the next 6 years.

This also, may or may not, lead to more lines of flying and/or longer layovers. I always thought Splits, etc... were not safe but that may be just me. Staffing and hiring may be affected but with growth apparently coming it should not be a big deal.

For the record, the Big D, nor do I think any other major, do Split duties and there may be a big reason. Red eyes are another deal all together.

I am not sure how this will affect other regionals as well.
Usually it's because of contractual reasons. They are generally too expensive for the airline to want to operate them. There have been some overtures in the past from DL management to negotiate for rules for CDOs. Right now they would be worth 10:30 each and it just doesn't make sense to them to make pairings that way.

I don't know if Alaska does split duties, but they do have red eye turns which is someone other airlines tend to avoid as a matter of course (not necessarily contractually).

Apart from the ten or so LOAs communicated to the pilots and signed since LOA 91.
