Default Hours a month for reservists?

Hi,

Pardon if this has been asked a million times, but how many hours a month are getting FO’s in reserve at NYC?

Default Not much

You might get 25-30 hours a month if you're lucky. It will be lower as EDV keeps hiring but no additional flying, at least for now. Also, keep in mind you will sit a lot of airport reserve in New York and the crew shuttle has been taken away (March 1)so it's 10$ each way everyday times five. Math is 100$ a week potentially. It's really going to hurt the Flight Attendant's but they honestly don't seem to care.

I would really look elsewhere where reserve time is low, with good flying hours and avoid New York. We got rooked into covering two airport's and it really stinks.

I am not trying to be a Debbie Downer but it just isn't really looking for good for EDVs future right now.

Between zero and thirty-six months. According to our latest mock award, the bottom NYC 900 line holder is six months in.

Entirely depends on attrition, growth and future hiring en masse. The last two seen like more of an “if” lately and the attrition hasn’t been so heavy lately as Delta has seemingly scaled back their hiring for 2019, which our DGI only has a 50% success rate for anyways. I’d think 9-12 months is realistic for a new hire today in NYC, although it you aren’t a STEP student you won’t be getting a class til the fall anyways.

It’s their estimate. They could start hiring en masse tomorrow or they could start parking planes next week. All depends on attrition and growth of which the company (Endeavor) have no control over.
