I’m glad that you made it, I’m glad that the guys who got retroactive CJOs made it, I’m glad to see at least an improvement. Where my criticism comes in at is 9E/DL making this out to be better than it is and the lack of transparency. I get it, DPS has their goofball secret sauce to their “proprietary” process. But when people who are already flying your brand, flying your customers, on Delta owned planes - you should tell them the problem. Transparently tell them the problem. This elitist crap and condescending stance is just that: crap. Hiding behind the excuse “that’s the process” doesn’t seem to excuse the fact that Propel still has a better path to Delta. You don’t want to transparently explain the process? Make an Endeavor edition of the interview that floats the boat, works for Propel. Hate us 400 on the top of list? Fine! Don’t hang the rest of the pilot group for it.
Why?
Because the last time this happened no one bought their crap and they had to jump the pay almost 50% over 2 years. Before they try pay (and they know a flow fixes everything but they're never going to admit they are THAT wrong until the investors start calling for heads) they're gonna try every gimmicky turd.they can think of
Congrats. You're at the gimmicky stage. Next stage is more pay so get your effin wish list ready.

At this point guys should identify if they believed the DGI was going to be a roaring success or not.
I will say, to Delta credit, they wanted you all to get one extra point, which NJ made them tell us how many would have been helped. When the number was zero, Delta got real and upped the points so that it mattered.
If the day two is cutting that many guys I believe that is a higher number, and Deltas doing their crap again.
With that said I'm here, I thought the interview was fair, but if it was fair why were guys in my group that didn't get it have the same experience I had and thought they did ok? *Shrug*.
Glad to be at Delta but I'm not happy until I see a LOT more guys over here from EDV.

Delta sees all the posts telling people that have things in their background being told that an American wholly owned should be their first priority so they can flow. They see the talk about making it a fallback. They do not like flows. You can work for better progression, and you should have it, but I do not think you will see a flow and complaints that amount to a flow being the only way don't accomplish anything.
For those that think the pilot shortage will get bad enough that only regionals with flow will be able to staff, if SkyWest, Republic, and Mesa are still around you know it hasn't gotten to that point.
A lot of really good pilots got turned down by the SSP and later interview processes, including those I really wanted to get selected. I think the process can be made much better, but lines like "guess I'll go back to flying Delta passengers" will not get you anything, and for good reason.
Again, this is not a judgement on those turned down, a lot of really great pilots were told no, but this type of argument is not going to get anywhere because it doesn't really have any basis with any type of past practice that has ever happened in the industry.

This catchphrase doesn't mean anything, although it does seem like simple whining at this point. It doesn't mean anything different for a 9E pilot or a OO pilot or, for a while longer, a CP pilot. How about a RP pilot? ExpressJet and Comair. Mesa. They all flew Delta passengers on Delta owned aircraft before. ExpressJet was wholly owned as ASA as was Comair. It didn't originate until guys started talking like flow was the only acceptable outcome and was their region for justifying it or claiming that it was a liability for Delta to turn down a single pilot from one of their regionals.

Last I checked EV, YX, OO Fly for other companies. If I’m not mistaken CA was offered a flow. There’s that word again.
