What's next? Hairnets to protect and keep everyone safe from head lice?
Maybe welding helmets in the cockpit for the next laser strike?
What else can we make them wear without contract changes or negotiation?

I have personal thoughts about the medical effectiveness of masks, or lack thereof, but from a business standpoint if me wearing a mask in public encourages a pax or two to buy a delta ticket then I’ll do it. But that’s just me.

I don't mind wearing the mask in front of customers for the same reasons you cited by another forum member, but a policy that has you wearing it when you are the ONLY PERSON in the crew room is a bit excessive, overbearing and contractually abusive in my opinion.

Yeah, definitely agree there. Not many pax to take notice in an empty crew room. I wonder if the policy is different at mainline where there are separate pilot/FA rooms?

These things are all on the way.
Be prepared.
