There will be an on air with the chair live on the 22nd, which is what they're calling the all pilot call where members have a chance to hear from and ask questions of the union leadership. I don't think anything has been mentioned about a new podcast and when it might come out

Gotcha. I just skimmed though that part of email.

I wonder if we could see some good QOL improvements.

I got hired mid July with a Feb 2022 class date. Emailed HR on Monday about getting an earlier class date and was called on Tuesday with a November 22nd class date. I have no ATP yet, it’s scheduled for November 5th. So if you reach out to them directly, you may be able to fill a slot that has recently opened up.

Don't think having an atp plays into this. Maybe it does. Think the main factor is getting more instructors trained to where they can increase the class size. They are looking to fill 70 a month starting in January..so maybe they are slowly increasing it. But congrats on the class date and nice getting it moved up

The bigger factor might be sooner class dates at other regionals. YX is hiring again and has classes next month. The AA WO bonuses are shiny if you don't any better. CJOs are likely bailing.

That bodes well for negotiations next week.

Default Training during Holiday season

How does training work during the holiday season? (Not expecting to go home or anything like that) I’m curious about whether or not we’ll have any training events or at the very least how things will work. Class date 1 Nov.

Will we go home for the Christmas/ new year holidays?

When I went though training during the holiday season I had Thanksgiving and Christmas off. Plus days around it. With Xmas falling on a Saturday this year you will be home for it. The biggest thing you can do is study hard during the week and go home on the weekends.
