Per the latest union podcast…. “If we can stabilize attrition and dual qual everyone, E-Jets are in our future”
I found those comments interesting. 🤨
Anyone else feel like E-Jets are now apart of the retention program lol

Just like Tran States Airlines was trying to sell everybody on the MRJ a few years back? It's a sign of desperation for sure.

Its all crap. No one comes to a regional and think oh this is a great place I'll just stay here. Yes I get the whole 2001-2012 was a hard time to move on..but now it's as easy as its ever going to get over the next few years. Don't waste it...actively try to move on.

No current EDV Captain, flowing or not, will be here for the eJet if it ever comes.
I thought the funnier part of the podcast was the company engaging MHI on a new 50 seat jet solution. The laundry list of things you would have to fix on the just is just too long to contemplate. Are there even any “new” engines in this thrust/weight range?

In fairness, there may be NO solution to their problem unless a recession slows everything up. Sort of like the “supply chain disruptions” caused by COVID. ‘Just in time’ ordering of parts and people’s works very efficiently, right up until it doesn’t work at all. Then you are screwed. Because there is no slack in the system to handle disruptions like massive numbers of senior retirement options.
