Not really a gamble when the flow deal includes flowback that would put everyone at edv except the top 10% out of work in the event of a furlough at DL

You definitely can't stay at Endeavor, I'm baffled at some of the people who passed on the flow. The protected status is not safe if Delta needs to shuffle the regionals.

I've flown with a few CA recently that are early 50s and over 15 years here and they are staying put. I couldn't understand why.

You know there is something called a fence. Most mergers have one that prevents one pilot group from bidding for the other's equipment/bases for some specified ammout of time...

Fences wouldn't work here, you are thinking about an imposed equipment lock by management. You can't fence off a slot no one is bidding for, there are over a thousand unbid mainline slots.

This is a totally different time . It would be an operational disaster for Delta to do that . I understand you can Never say Never , but just don’t see it happening. I’m not sure why they are swapping flying from DTW to ATL between Endeavor and Skywest though . Any thoughts on why they are doing that ?

Couple pages and no one is bringing up McCaskill Bond act and you can't staple as a result.

The shuffling of flying, or what we used to call the DCI shuffle, is a long standing practice ensuring theres no legal definition of struck work you can point to during a strike. Comairs routes were approved, and it was crippling.

Hows the fan faction going guys? You get figured out how Delta's going to save EDV yet?

if a agreement is made by all there parties then the McCaskill would not apply.. That was done to protect pilots from a forced staple to the bottom of a list like what happened to TWA pilots. This would not be a forced staple, nor a Merger(would imply an integration of the DAL seniority list) Not sure what the term would be but if its agreed by those parties then it’s done..
