What's the general vibe, Atlanta gonna go senior for captains with the 900 rolling in? Was thinking about bidding it just go get out of New York. I'll be sitting at the bottom of the seniority list no matter where I go since I was a quick upgrade.

Everyone seems to think captain is gonna go senior. But if you want it doesn't hurt to try!

Yea, CA is probably gonna go pretty senior but FO no one knows. Few slots in NY should be posted

Implied there will be very little if no 200 slots, but you never know. Said that 900 is the growth plane moving forward.

Then a bunch of negotiations updates, nothing you haven't read in a Hotline. Slow going. Trying for long call, looks good. Positive space commuter (2nd try) like DL has. Trying for more per diem. 83 hrs is the number..... Again, these were just updates on priorities. "Shooting" for Q1 2018 vote, but that sounded hopeful. Don't expect anything this year.

Would love to know what bases these senior ATL folk currently reside in. The Motor and Twin cities desperately need some movement. I imagine most of the Memphians and Floridians will likely stay put.

I flew with a senior DTW captain last week (top 10 in base) who is going to bid it to maintain seniority due to the MSP -200 base closure. They anticipate a good number of the commuters bidding to DTW over ATL

Those MSP guys are going to be in for quite a shock if they bid DTW or ATL...a nearly impossible commute....S3B1 and JS priority on Delta will not help them. if they were smart they would go to NYC...and I am not saying that just because I am in DTW....

Poppycock. I have 2-leg commuted thru ATL and never had to CIH. Also non-revved ATL to MEM, MSP, and DTW and back, never had an issue. Might miss one flight, but got on the next. A lot of this is hype from those who are afraid to try it, IMHO. Have never had to resort to OAL flying yet.
